Can you make your mom’s marmelade recipe even more posh? Well with icewine you defintely can make your ‘boring’ classic apricot marmelade a little more upscale.
- 1 kg apricots
- 500g sugar
- 1 cup icewine
- 1 packet vegan gel fix
How you do it
Cut down the aprocots. Make sure to remove the seed. Cover teh apricost with sugar and icewine. Let the mix macerate for aprox 12 hours.
After the maceration, heat up the mix and wait until it starts cooking. Make sure to stir. Once the mix reaches it boiling peak ad the vegan gel fix and cook for 2-3 minutes more. While the marmelade is still hot full up the jars, close them firmly and let them cool down
Serve and enjoy.
