Gambas al what??? Traditional garlic shrimps are usually made with white wine. Here we added a little twist by using another traditional Spanish beverage coming from the southern Spanish region of Jerez in Cadiz.
What you need (serves 2)
- 300g shrimps
- 2 dents garlic
- 30 ml Xerez
- 4 spoon olive oil
- salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
How you do it
Heat up the oil in a pan. Meanwhile peel and chop the garlic. Roast the agrlic in the oil until it turns golden brown. Add the shrimps and stir-fry. Season with salt and chili-powder. Once the shrimps are doon splash them with the Xerez.
Serve and enjoy.
