Tomato Watermelon Gazpacho

Tasty Spanish things you can make with tomatoes? GAZPACHO. This great summer soup is eaten all over spain in summer. And why not it helps you to fresh up und put some vitamins into your body with this tremendous heat

What you need (serves 4)

  • 5-6 tomatoes (make sure that they are very mature)
  • 1/2 medium sized watermelon
  • 4 spoons olive oil
  • 2 spoons vinegar
  • 1 spoon sea salt
  • 1 spoon grounded pepper

How you do it

Peel and slice the tomatoes (If you keep the peel the gazpacho will sit heavy on your stomach). Cut down the watermelon and remove the peel as well. (If the watermelon has seeds, make sure to remove them as well).

Put everything in a bowl and cover with spices, oil and vinegar. Macerate the mix for 1 hour or so. Afterwards blend.

Serve and enjoy

  1. You might think that the combination of ingredients is odd, but they blend perfectly. It’s the confirmation tomato is a fruit. Really delicious.
