Whitewine Stewed Ribs

Quite a traditional Spanish dish. You would do a stew like this in winter with the remainers of ribs and other bones you would find around in the fridge (modern times) or had salted previously (traditional times). But anyways easy and delicious

What you need (serves 2)

  • 4 pieces of ribs (aprox 400g)
  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 twig rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 spoons olive oil
  • 1 cup white wine
  • Salt

How you do it:

Peel and chop garlic and onion. Stir fry them in a pot with olive oil, bay leaves, and rosemary. Peel and quarter potatoes and add them. Finally add the ribs and roast them for a few minutes.

Add the wine and cook for aprox 30 mins.

Serve and enjoy
