Fall time! Cake time! Summer is almost over so we can let go of a little bit, right? Now let’s go back to have some cakes and sweets. This time German styled tangerine cheese cake
Cookie dough
- 100g butter
- 200g sugar
- 375g flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
Cheese Cream
- 1kg creamy curd cheese
- 250ml milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 pack vanilla custard powder
- 1 spoon vanilla extract
- 3 cans canned tangerines
- 150g sugar
Jelly Finish
- water
- agar agar powder for 500 ml liquid
How you do it
Cookie Dough
Just knead all ingredients together until you get a smooth dough. Spread the finished dough over your rectangular pan (previously use some parchment paper)
Cheese Cream
Whisk all ingredients together (except tangerines). Pour the cheese cream over the extended cookie dough.
Uncan the tangerine slices (make sure to reserve the liquid for later). After rinsing the slices place them on top of the cream cheese
Bake the cake for aprox 40 minutes at 180ºC
Jelly
Use the tangerine liquid and fill it up to 500ml with water. Prepare agar agar jelly according to the instruction on the pack.
Glaze the cake with glossy jelly. And let it setfor minimum 4 hours.
