Pot Roast

Well everyone who said spring is here… WRONG. It is still freezing cold outside and spring won’t be here until 3 more weeks. Yeah everyone needs to warm up right now. So how about this awesome pot roast to warm up.

What you need (for 4 servings)

  • 750g lean filet (in one piece  – pork or veal)
  • 5 dents garlic
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 yellow radish
  • 1 carrot
  • 9 spoons olive oil
  • 1 spoon grounded pepper
  • 1 small branch rosemary
  • 3 spoons salt salt
  • 400 ml white wine

How you do it:

Peel and cut the veggies in large pieces. Heat up the oil in a pressure pot (YES YOU WILL NEED A PRESSURE POT, if not it will take you ages to get the meat soft).

Once the oil is hot add all the veggies and keep roasting/stri-frying them for aprox 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper and rosemary.

Afterwards add the meat and roast top and bottom side for 3-4 minutes each. Cover with white wine and close the lid. Reduce the temperature to a minimum and cook for 90 minutes aprox.

Serve and enjoy
