Dan Dan Noodles

A Chinese classic from the Sichuan province. Very quick and easy to make and so delicious.

What you need

  • 1 chopped garlic dent
  • 1 tbs chili flakes
  • 1 tbs ground sichuan pepper
  • oil mix (1/4 cup neutral oil + tsp sesame oil)
  • 200 g cooked noodles (pick your favourite)
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs palm sugar
  • 1 tbs chunky chili peanut butter

How you do it

In a pan fry garlic, chili flakes, and pepper in oil mix. After 1-2 minutes add sugar, vinegar, soy sauce , and peanut butter. Once you have a sauce turn off the heat and add the noodles and let it soak up the sauce.

Serve with some pak choi and enjoy
