Vegan Tangerine Custard

Quick recipe for a sweet moment at home. And without any added sugar.

What you need (enough for 4 custards)

  • 400ml almond milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 4-5 sweet tangerines (to get 100ml juice
  • 2 spoon corn flour

How you do it:

Heat up the almond milk in a casserole.

Meanwhile squeeze out the juice from the tangerines. Open the vanilla bean and extract the seed add them to the juice together with the corn flour. Whisk everything together.

Once the milk starts boiling withdraw from the heat. Add the juice mix . Place the casserole back on the heat and keep stirring. Once the custard starts setting withdraw again. Fill your custard forms. Chill for a few hours
