What do you do when you have some bananas and chocolate at home and you do not know want to do it. Of course, a banana chocolate chip cake. (Chocolate fondue would also be a valid answer, but lets go for a cake).
What you need (for a mini-cake):
- 1 mashed banana
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup liquid butter
- 4 spoons brown sugar
- 75g dark chocolate
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 shot (30ml) rum
How you make it:
Stir egg, vanilla, and sugar. Whisk in the liquid butter. Add the mashed banana and keep stirring. Add the flour and baking soda. Chop the dark chocolate and add it to the mix together with the rum.
Use a small round form and oven the cake at 180ºC for aprox. 30 mins.
Serve and enjoy
