Vegan Tofu Burger

Let’s give us some last healthy treat before we start all this crazy Christmas cooking. If you carving for some burgers here is a vegan solution that works quite well.


What you need

  • 300g firm tofu
  • 1/2 chopped red pepper
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 60g bread crumbs
  • 1 tbs corn starch
  • salt, pepper, paprika, curcuma,
  • sriracha sauce
  • olive oil for the pan


How you do it:

Sautée red pepper and onion well. They should have a fantastic grilled veggie taste.

Mince the tofu, add sautée veggies, crumbs, starch and spices (spice to your own taste). Mix and knead into burger texture. Split in 4 and form 4 burguer patties.

Heat up some olive oil in a pan. Panfry burgers 4 minutes from each side.

Dig in and enjoy
