Veggie Croissants

This recipe is a live saver for any party that you have to arrange or when you are invited to one of those gathering, where everybody needs to bring something to eat. Nice and easy.

What you need (serves 4)

  • 1 puff pastry (square shaped)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 spoon chili powder
  • 1 spoon oregano
  • 4 spoon olive oil
  • soy sauce
  • 1 egg

How you do it

Prep the vegetables (wash, peel, remove seed, etc.). Once you are don shred the veggies and set aside.

Heat up the oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, start roasting the veggies. Add seasoning and soy sauce. Keep roasting. (Make sure that there is not much liquid left).

Roll out the pastry. Add the veggie mix on top and wrap it up again. Cut it into small bits.

Stirr the egg and paint the croissants with. Oven the croissants for aprox 35-40 minutes at 185°C.
Serve and enjoy
