Roscos de Manzana

This looks like donuts, right? Well some kind of Spanish styled donuts with lots of delicious apple inside. Let’s have a look at the recipe

What you need (20-22 roscos)

  • 500g flour
  • 10g baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 120g butter
  • ½ orange
  • 120ml milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 apple
  • sunflower oil for frying
  • extra-sugar and cinnamon

How you do it:

Mix everything together except the apple, orange and sugar.

Peel the orange and reserve the peel. Squeeze out the orange juice and add it to the mix.

Peel and chop the apple. Whisk it in together with the sugar and mix thoroughly.

Take equal pieces of the dough and form the typical donut-ring form. Fry them in a pan until they grow a little bit and turn golden brown.

Rinse them on some paper tissues. Just before they cool down wind them in some sugar and cinnamon mix.

Serve and Enjoy!
