Bourbon Foie Burger

Not a trendsetting topic though but yes… I finally made a burger recipe. After months and months people asking me for an own burguer creation, I finally came up witha recipe. I have mixed a lot of inputs and ideas from burger places I have been to and ta-daaaaaaa here it is


What you need

  • 250g catalonian veal meat (grounded)
  • 20ml bourbon whiskey
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices foie gras (micuit)
  • 1 spoon caramelised onions
  • 1 spoon spicy ketchup
  • 1 spoon estragon mustard
  • lettuce and avocado
  • salt and pepper


How you do it

Form a burger patty with the veal. Soak the burger patty in the bourbon whiskey 20 mins. Heat up a pan until it is very hot. Grill the burger patty for 2-3 mins on one side and 2-3 mins on the other side. Season with salt and pepper. Afterwards, roast the meat in your 200ºC pre-heated oven for 10-12 mins. Once it is done put your burger patty on a plate and pile on top of it the mozzarella cheese, tomato slices and foie gras. cover everything with the sauces and the caramelised onions.

Serve and enjoy
