Guacamole Onion Rings

Have you ever dipped your onion rings in guacamole? And do you agree that this tastes amazing? If you do so the you have to try this recipe. Onion rings filled with guacamole. Those taste amazingly great.

 

What you need

For the Guacamole:

  • 3 avocados
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 20g coriander
  • 1 fresh onion
  • 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon grounded spicy chili (if you are not a fan of spicy chili you can also take sweet chili)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

 

For the Onion Rings:

  • 4 onions
  • transparent foil
  • flour
  • bread crumbs
  • 3 scrambled eggs

 

How you do it

Guacamole:

Cut the tomatoes and the onion in very small dices. Chop the coriander. Carve out the avocado. Squeeze the limes. Mix all the ingredients (including the seasoning) in one bowl. Mash everything with a for or with your hands.

 

Onion Rings:

Peel the onions. Cut every onion in three thick slices. Pick out the rings and spread them out over a tray that previously has been covered by transparent foil. Fill the onion rings with the guacamole and freeze them for at least 4 – 5 hour. Once the filled onion rings are hard enough. batter them first in the flour, then in the scrambled eggs and finish by winding them in the bread crumbs. Deep-fry them in very hot oil for a few minutes.

 

Serve and enjoy
