What do you do when you have tons of red cabbage at home and you do not know what do do with it? Well you make typical German style boiled red cabbage and have an everready tasy dish for the fall season.
What you need:
- 500g sliced red cabbage
- 200g fresh raspberries
- 1 chopped onion
- 100ml sweet pear cider
- salt
- 4 spoons olive oil
- honey
How you do it:
Roast the onion in the olive oil with some honey. Once the onion is golden add the cabbage, raspberries. Slightly roas them for 1 or 2 minutes. Add the pear cider, cover the pot and let it cook for 45 minutes at a low temperature.
Serve and Enjoy…
or alternatively you can preserve it in an airtight jar for later.
Nice recipe! Just the other day I seen a fermented red beet and apple recipe ππΌπ
