Pistacchio-Dates Rice

Looking for a wary to pep-up your typical white rice but still keeping it a health source for essential nutrients, such a proteins and essential minerals? Well try this Arabian themed rice. Super tasty and super helathy giving you more power for exercising. And it is all vegan.

What you need (for aprox 4 servings)

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 4 spoons olive oil
  • 100g peeled pitacchios
  • 100g sun dried dates
  • 1 spoon salt

 

How you do it

In a pot heat up the oils. Once they are hot roast the pitacchios and the dates for 3 minutes. Add the water and afterwards the rice. Put on the lid  and reduce the cooking temperature. Cook for aprox 20 mins.

Serve and enjoy
