There is one Japanese place in Barcelona where the deep fried chicken is just amazing. The question was always: What is in there? What do they do that it tastes so good? Well last week one of the waitresses was very charming and explained me the recipe. Here it goes
What you need
- 300 g chicken stripes/slices
- 2 spoons grounded ginger
- 25ml japanese vinegar
- 25ml soy sauce
- 120ml dark beer
- 150g flour
How you do it.
Marinate the chicken for aprox. 3-4 hours in a vinegar/soy sauce/ginger mix.
Mix the dark beer with the flour to get a creamy paste. Heat up a pan with oil. Pass each slice through the beer/flour paste and deepfry them for a few minutes.
