I was fearing this day, where I would have to do a long haul flight again in Economy. Luckily I got one of the fancy Asian Airlines: Thai
Stats:
Airline: THAI AIRWAYS
Flight(s): TG 466 (12/11/2019)
Itinerary: MEL – BKK
Aircraft: Airbus A350-900
What I had:
To start off. Some Australian Soy Crisps. Yummy and healthy
For main course pasta salad with tuna, thai-styled chicken with casheew nuts and beans, and as dessert sponge cake. The pasta salad was lacking a little bit of vinegar and salt. The rest of the main courses were quite nice.
As the flight was an afternoon/evening flight dinner was served just before landing. Egg-fried rice with chicken and an omlette, fresh cut fruit and Emu-Bottom’s Anzac buscuits. Nice too.
Summary:
Even flying in economy Thai Airways does not disappoint with its menu. Simple, nicely done and thai-styled. Good choice.
