The middle eastern Airlines are famous for their luxurious Business Class. And there is o exception with Qatar. In fact on most ultra long haul flights Business Class is equipped with the famous Qsuite. The Qsuite is a fantastic space to enjoy some privacy during the flight.
And the food is not bad either. Just one thing to remember: Food is à la carte so you can choose, mix and order whatever you want from the menu.
Airline: QATAR AIRWAYS
Flight(s): QR 907 (03/11/2018)
Itinerary: SYD – DOH
Aircraft: BOEING 777-300ER
What I had:
While waiting for the first appetizer some delicious and lightly salted nuts and dry fruits.
To start off a small canapé with tomato and cottage cheese.
As an entrée I commenced with creamy butternut almond soup with herb cream. A very silky texture and great taste
The entrée was complimented with a traditional Arab mezze (not to miss out!): a fantastic mix of hummus, taboule, and moutabel, served with traditional Arabic bread.
For the main dish I stayed “Arab” oredering the chicken Kofta servbed with oriental rice. Sooo good. The dish was topped with some golden fried onions, cashews and raita yoghurt.
Only for the dessert I went Western style by ordering the warm orange semolina pudding.
Afterwards it was time for a good night’s rest.
Just before landing it was time for some breakfast, although locally it was almost 11pm. As I indulged myself during dinner I chose some healthier options. First a assitte of cold cuts (to bring in more proteins) and lastly a coconut and chia seed porridge served with some fresh mango.
All in all if you want to indulge yourself on a flight Qatar Business Class is totally worth it.
