Oh Canada! Well on a trip to Canada what better Airline to take than Air Canada. Little did I know that Air Canada’s main brand does not fly everywhere. Seasonal routes such as Montréal – Barcelona is done by Air Canada’s leisure brand Air Canada Rouge. So here it goes
Airline: AIR CANADA ROUGE
Flight(s): AC 1913 (01/09/2018)
Itinerary: BCN – YUL
Aircraft: Boeing 767-300
What I had:
Just a little after take-off a late lunch was served. For the main course tonchoose between pasta and chicken. I went for the chicken. Surprise was that it was served in an Italian (even matching the colours of the Italian flag – sorry on the picture I did no place it correctly).
It looks worse than it is. Actually the chicken served with pesto, mashed potatoes and tomato sauce was not that bad. Surprisingly even very juicy.
As a sider potato salad. Basic but allright. And for dessert a Bronte’s café black currant and dark chocolate cookie.
Just before landing a small snack was served. A hot Monty’s chicken wrap that was ok.
All in all the economy main course for a long haul low cost carrier was actually not bad. So good to go.
